From Japanese fabric brand Cosmo, this is a beautiful textural fabric they call 'Yarn-Dyed Bobby', a firm yarn-dyed cotton base covered in embroidered crosses (these show on the back as squares (see pic.) This one is a muted shade of turquoise blue with red crosses.
This is a great fabric for boxy garments as well as patchwork and quilting, soft furnishings and craft projects such as bags.
