One 50 ml sachet of Dylon Fabric Dyes for hand use in the shade 'Forest Green'.
These are perfectly suited for smaller items like shorts, vests or socks, and for delicates you’d rather not put in the machine like wool and silk.
One pack dyes up to 250g of fabric to full shade or larger amounts to lighter shades. It is suitable for cotton, linen and viscose. Lighter shades will be acheived on wool, silk, polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose mixes. Not suitable for polyester, acrylic, nylon and fabric with special finishes. Wash separately for the first few washes after dyeing. Colour mixing rules apply (i.e. blue on red gives purple.)
You will also need 250g of salt, rubber gloves and a large bowl or stainless steel sink (big enough for around 6.5 litres of water and the fabric you will be dyeing.)
Instructions are on the back of each packet.
Dylon dyes are vegan and not tested on animals. They have been tested for their environmental impact; the dye dilutes in the water to a safe level (for humans and animals) and can be dealt with effectively in the sewage system.
If you have sensitive skin do take care - as with any dye, they can occasionally cause an allergic reaction.
