A paper sewing pattern by Merchant & Mills.
Paynter Jacket Co. make limited edition jackets only four times a year. Their jackets are classic pieces that will stand the test of time and get better with age. The Field Jacket is Paynter's first make-your-own jacket pattern in collaboration with Merchant & Mills. This is a unisex pattern, with some suggested amendments if you're making a women's jacket.
All paper patterns will include two woven labels, which are only available in the paper pattern and won’t be sold elsewhere.
This pattern is aimed at advanced sewists, but on the Merchant & Mills website they have a video for making a patch pocket hack, which would make it slightly easier.
Size XS-XXL
Requires x3 reels of thread.
Fabric: 7-12oz denim, wool, cotton twill or canvas. NB. There are 9 layers to sew through during the pocket construction so check the fabric selected to make sure your machine can accomodate it!
