Scrappy Sewcial Friday 7th February - (Patchwork) Heart Bunting

A monthly event, the 'Scrappy Sewcial' is a loosely taught workshop with ideas and techniques on using fabric scraps. 

This month I'll show you how to make simple heart bunting, either with whole scraps or if you're a little bit more advanced you can learn to make patchwork crumb fabric and make patchwork hearts for your bunting. 

The session takes place on Friday 7th February 10.30am-12.30pm in my little workshop 'Making Space' in central Ulverston at Catkin & Scraps. All materials are included, though you are welcome to bring your own scraps if you'd like. 

The group is loosely tutored - which means I will be showing you how to do things and helping you, but also running the shop and serving customers, which can mean some time spent waiting - this depends on how busy the shop is.

Basic sewing supplies are available to use but feel free to bring your own if you have them to avoid waiting to use common items such as fabric scissors etc.

There are only four spaces available so it's wise to book ahead to secure your place, which you can do via this listing or in person at the Ulverston shop.

Once booked, if you change your mind or circumstances mean that you can no longer come, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations less than a full day ahead and no-shows will not be refunded.

The workshop is fairly accessible, but if you have any special requirements as far as access or seating goes please do get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
