This gorgeous fabric is a fine, slinky bamboo viscose 'silk' with a satin type finish - shiny on one side, matt on the the other. 

It is semi-sheer when held up to the light and would need lining unless the style is voluminous.

It feels and behaves very like silk, and will similarly work very well for bridal & formal wear as well as for luxurious linings, lingerie, bedding etc.

Bamboo is a natural fibre and takes dye very well. You can use the same hand dye that you would for silk.

This bamboo viscose fabric was made using a closed loop process and is Oeko Tex 100 certified (meaning it is free of harmful chemicals.)

We have done a wash test on this fabric in the machine at 30℃ and found it shrank by around 4-5% so do make sure you pre-wash this before making it into garments.
